The General Skills 20-hour certification course will be held on 21-24 August, 2012 at Oceanens Kulturhus, Gothenburg. Teacher Training 1 will be held 27-28 August 2012 at the same location. One day drills will be held in Stockholm on August 30.

Students must complete all 20 hours of instruction to be eligible for certification. Any student not attending all required hours of class will not be certified. No exceptions. International students must be proficient in English, or must supply their own interpreter with approval from Carolena.

Class size will be limited to 25 students for GS, 12 students for TT1.

Prerequisite: Participants should have a working knowledge of belly dance. Experience in ATS and Tribal Improv is a plus. To attend Teacher Training you must first complete your General Skills certification.

Approximate cost for the courses will be: GS 580 Euros, TT1 490 Euros, One Day Pass 175 Euros
A deposit of
155 Euros per class for GS and
155 Euros for TT and
40 Euros for One day drills

will hold your space with final payment due IN FULL by June 30th 2012. No exceptions.

Upon registration, you will be asked to please provide a short bio (not required for One day drills only) (one page or less) including the following basic information with your application (on a separate sheet of paper):

  • Previous dance training & number of years dance experience
  • Types of dance studied
  • Any other pertinent information regarding dance experience

    GS Intensive/ ATSTT registration is first paid, first served. One person per application, please. No refunds. When your application has cleared, you will receive further instructions.
